So how did everyone's holidays go? How did the gift exchange go? Did you get anything you wanted or didn't want?

Not winding down yet. I got roughly 7 pounds (I'm not kidding) of candy, and some books and games. And a sausage (salami, yum). I've been playing Morrowind and Sims 2 basically non-stop. Sims 2 is fun, but the comp downstairs (which it was put on since both me and my sister want to play it) can't handle it without lagging. Morrowind is fine, if you remember to quicksave often. My problem is that about once every five to ten quicksaves, it saves, then crashes, and crashes for about five times instead of loading. So it takes a lot of patience. It took me an incredile amount of time to figure out how to sleep, repair weapons, and use the map to not get lost. I also learned the valuable lesson that copereal weapons do squat against ghosts. Having fun. ;D

Yes, I got some very nice pajamas, an Elton John cd(you know what's really aggravating though? The new FBI protection stuff on cds now makes it near impossible to play on the computer, it makes this awful scratching noise), two disney dvds(Mary Poppins and Mulan), a dolphin lamp with sea sounds on it(it's one of those lamps with a rotating picture, very nice) , a cameo necklace of a cat, and a few ceramic frogs, and a nutcracker. I hope everyone had a good holiday.

Oh shoot, I forgot to talk about what I got! I too got two sets of pajamas. I got a few "ha-ha" gifts such as an 8-ball (don't ask). I got some nice Copal Tree inscence that smells so awesome. I guess the Native Americans used it during ceremonies and stuff. I also got some nice boots. And 2 gift cards to bookstores as well as a Charlotte Russe gift card, ;D This Christmas was one of the best b/c I made quite a bit of money selling things right before the holidays and I didn't even spend all the money I made. So technically, I didn't spend a dime of my own money and everyone was happy with the gifts I got them! I didn't even mean for it to go that way either. lol The only thing that pissed me off was that I didn't get to go to my aunt's church to sing some carols. I don't care if I'm not Christian, it would have been fun to sing with friends and family. Well, so far it seems the three of us had a nice holiday experience. I wonder how everyone else's was...

Yeees, Sims2...good. Did you put yourself in the game yet? I have No, and I don't intend to. Well, my sister does, she's making our family. I'm making a general neighborhood, and a Wheel of Time themed one.

Wheel of Time Theme Neighborhood? BTW, don't forget to register your game and get an account at the main site. You can download clothing, skins, hair, anything you need. There are also new tools to make wallpapers and carpets. Don't forget to use Body Shop. For more info, refer to the Sims thread in Entertainment below. ;D

I got the John Lennon Anthology (cd box set), Once there was a way...photographs of the Beatles (book), the Pagan Christ (book), the Encyclopedia of the Occult (book), a bunch of candy, gift certificates, '05 kitten calendar, and a talking spice girls doll that my sister didn't want. lol ;D Hey, Pandora...what Elton cd? I love Elton John. I haven't had any problems with new cds in regards to ripping them. That's kind of odd. I know they've started doing that at the video store...making it so you can't record the rented dvd...even though I found a way around it with our vcr. ;D

I got PeachTree Road. I love Elton too-I wish I could go to one of his concerts but he's a bit expensive. For my birthday me and mum shared that dvd thing of his called Dream Ticket. Heheh, she was in heaven. ;D
I'm thinking though now it's the cd player and not the cd itself.
*smacks it one*
Oh Tara, you got incense?(what does it smell like?) All I get is that Airs stuff-but it smells a lot better than t he cheapo incense. I really have to play it safe though with incense because it may set off my brother's asthma.

I've got an inscence called Magical Copal. It seems it's from a "Fragrances of the World" company or something. This fragrance is from the copal tree which by Native Americans was believed to have strong healing powers and strongly affect emotions. This scent was used for sacred healing rituals and magical ceremonies dedicated to the Gods.
However, I myself would use it to just chill and relax. That's what I burn inscense for. ;D And sometimes to help me get the right tone for the atmosphere when I'm praying or meditating.

I don't burn incense, I just leave it. I think it smells better that way. I was at this guys house where he had this spray fountain thing, and he filled it with a mix of water and rose water. That was nice.

I think it was just supposed to be a portable fountain, but it sprayed a fine mist throughout the room.

Oh that's good, especially during the winter months when it gets dry. I have an enviorscape that does that, but it doesn't mist.
