Kiss Ass TestMy Results: Your score = 25Even in the most tempting of situations (like getting a promotion), you hold back the urge to suck up. You'd rather get respect, admiration and the other good things in life on your own merit, not because you butter people up. Either that or it simply doesn't occur to you to kiss butt! While it's certainly admirable that you don't kiss butt on a regular basis, keep in mind that a little subtle effort to get on people's good side can go a long way. You don't have to feel ashamed if you do it occasionally; it's actually an accepted part of successful socializing and career advancement. Just do things that feel genuine and you shouldn't be compromising your integrity.I don't kiss ass for any reason whatsoever (unles I absolutely have to) But kissing ass, to me, is almost like being dishonest.

From time to time, you butter other people up. You may not even think of it as kissing butt, but more as being polite - when, for example, you laugh at other people's bad jokes. Or perhaps there are simply certain things you want so badly in life (a promotion or the acceptance of your spouse's family) that you will put in that extra effort to get on someone's good side. Truth be told, sucking up is not always a bad thing, but can be a valuable way to build the right connections. You seem to maintain the precarious balance between outright kissing butt and subtly getting on people's good side. It's a real art!
