Are you afraid of getting old? Why or why not?

Why be afraid of the inevitable?

I look forward to being an old geezer, sitting in my rocking chair on the patio all day. I guess I'm the contemplative type. ;D

I don't mind being that type of old...you know...the wisewoman of the town. ;D
But there is a different kind ofold that I'm afraid of...and it's the one where life becomes a burden. Where you can no longer find happiness in what you do or in life's simple pleasures. I'm afraid that one day I won't enjoy the times where I can stop and smell the roses. But my stubborness will prevail! And that won't be happening. ;D

Not really, because it's just another part of life to go through, and it doesn't have to be a negative experience.

Is it getting old and getting old means you will die that you speak of? Or just the wrinkles and stuff. The truth is illness or death can come at any time, the lucky part is being here to learn enough . I'd like to be old and well, but I don't really don't mind. I've been lots of places had a good time and all of that. I'd like a lot of things to happen before I go. I'd like to see my brother's children when they come and do all sorts of good works. I wouldn't mind seeing myself age, what I'd mind is being dependent on someone.
