I usually sleep with two. But my head rests on one. Another is against the wall b/c I hate turning in my sleep and suddenly being faced with the cold wall. lol
Anyway, I have another question about sleeping with pillows. Are you supposed to rest your head only on a pillow or rest both your head and shoulders?

Just head is better. A towel or very thin pillow is good for on back; thick for side; and nothing, I swear, nothing is good for sleeping on your stomach. I am only comforted by the study which suggested those who sleep on their stomach sleep longer. ;D

I sleep on two pillows. I have to be elevated because I have bad sinus problems and I need the air flowing...so I can beathe...and the bit of a slant so that the mucus doesn't gather in my throat. I also have acid reflux, and it's better if your head is elevated so that the damage to the esophagus is lessened.

It just crossed my mind that perhaps I would make an herbal pillow for the first time. I know they have the ones in the stores that you put in the microwave and go to bed with it. Isn't that lovely ... , however, I think it would be cool to make my own. I have plenty of fabric that I never used and as many of you know, I enjoy art. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to try. My only thought is if it would be more expensive to buy the herbs and pack 'em into the pillow than to have it made. But I would think buying the pillow made by someone else may cost more (for cost of fabric, herbs and labor). who knows?

I never saw the point of pillows except as cushions for road trips. I prefer to rest my head in the crook of my arm.

Here's a good secret: Uncooked rice holds heat just about as well as those expensive hot/cold packs. Just sow some into a bag and pop it into the microwave. ;D

Yeah, but does it feel good?

Just like a heating pad (better, if you choose the right material for the bag). ;D

Hmmm... we'll see. I have a lilac plant in my yard. If I learn how to properly gather and take necessary steps, it might help. Gotta do a lot of studying first.
