From random places I cannot recall, I remember learning about how meditation can increase longevity. does anyoen have the full scooop on this?

Well, it is calming, and stress is the most common life shortener there is (not ender, but shortener, as it effests everyone).

I'm sure it does-because you focus totally on yourself. To me, it's the next best thing to a NAP! You come out refreshed, and on that you remove all distractions to meditate. All thoughts come to you that you've been putting off during the day and you're able to settle them.
Laughter too, gets you away froms tress, excercizes your lungs.
So does singing too, often if you act out or write out a problem it goes away.
People who bottle themselves in side make themselves sick.
