Sorry if the answers are all in the FAQs section, but I can't get there. The link only brings up a page headed "FreeWebs Page Not Found". The same happens with the 'Purpose' link.
I notice my registration lists me as a 'student'. I presume this is a category allocated to me by the board. I am happy with it - how much finer to be a student still in one 70s, rather than just 'retired'! Is there an explanation of the various categories, and also of the Karma rating?
What effect does ticking the 'Bookmark' box have?
When I first checked out the website, I thought I saw a section for Atheists and Agnostics, now I can't find it. Did I imagine it, and if so, where would be the best place to post from the Agnostic point of view? I am a seeker, and looking forward to some interesting discussions.

Hello Judian and welcome to Divine Whispers. Your questions are welcome here. Yes, we are in the midst of fixing up the links above. As of now, the Guidelines page is complete. I notice my registration lists me as a 'student'. I presume this is a category allocated to me by the board. I am happy with it - how much finer to be a student still in one 70s, rather than just 'retired'! Is there an explanation of the various categories, and also of the Karma rating? Okay, on most message boards there is a member ranking system. Usually the rankings start off with Newbie and then it goes on to Full Member, Junior Member, Senior Member and so on. However, admins such as myself enjoy a little flavor (how much different the flavor is to the original is decided by you ). The rankings are usually determined by number of posts. On some message boards, it also represents your longevitiy. It also represents rankings for people who are moderators for the boards. Bookmark is available on each and every thread on this forum. You click it to be notified of replies to the thread. I think the two options of being notified is through the PM (Private Messages) system or have the notifications go directly to your email. Hmmm... very good question. We recently collapsed the boards so that the front page isn't extrodinarily long. The board is called, "Secular and Non Religious" and it's in the "Other Major Practices Section". I'm sorry about the confusion. I hope you enjoy your time here at Divine Whispers.
