In the same attachment Diana gave regarding the alleged lewd actions of the people attending the parade. As well as going over what actions they felt upset by, the fire fighters also talk about feeling harassed by Christian protesters who told them homosexuality was wrong and that they were going to hell for attending the parade. One or two say they are upset because they are Christian and another one says he is upset because he doesn't believe Christians are correct in these assertions.
I don't know if there were Christian protesters in attendance because I wasn't there but the fire fighters in this piece advise that they were.

They are upset with the Christian protesters as well. Possibly, but that is only one interpretation of their comments. As a Christian, my interpretation of their comments is that they were viewed by the protesters as being in support of the event, when in fact they were not. They present this as further evidence that they were forced to do something against conscience.

Well, I think for one or two of the fireman this may be correct-I don't think it excuses the Christian protesters behaviour though.
This was particular true as one of the fire fighters talks about how he said hello to his uncles (his actual uncle and his uncle's partner) at the event and was disturbed not by the parade but by the actions of some of the parade's members. The Christian protests he found offensive because of their content.
