Over all this is rather sad. I'm not a big fan of the VP, but this is the sort of accident that haunts a person for a long time.

Well, diana, this happend on Saturday. Something like the vice president shooting somebody would have surely attracted the media real quick. Why it took a day to get the story out, I didn't understand. Maybe there is a difference between local and national news. For example, if someone got shot in a town nearby, you're going to hear about it in less than 24 hrs. at least around where I am.

You know this who situation has got me thinking.
Why when anything happens in the life of someone who is rich or famous do we feel that we have to know right away. I caught a little bit of Fox news and they had doctors speculating about what was going to be done with a pellet lodge near this guys heart. The guy has been shot and we rush to broadcast his personal medical problems all over the news.
Does no one have better things to do than worry about one accidental shooting they happen several times a year?
I'm starting to think that our society is becoming (or has been for some time) gossip addicts.
