For those who miss the old forum looks

I know I threw a message out to all the members already about how one person could be looking at one color scheme and another at another? Well... I fixed the other one. I have it all set and I'm working on bringing back most of the other schemes we've had in the past. This is going to be good and it's an exciting project for me.

So no more asking everybody about new color schemes (unless you have ideas you want to see come to life) because you can change the schemes any time you'd like. Different gradients and different images will show up for the board look depending on the scheme. This will not affect what other members see. This current beige-like scheme we have was set as the default scheme. The only code I haven't got was the PM image code that will change the images to go with whichever scheme you choose. And the code for the forum rules and all... I'll see what I can do about that. I'm leaning towards making more buttons atop the forum for the rules and guidelines and all that (which is possible through some messy coding).

Other than that, I'll be adding schemes when I feel like it. Currently I'm working on the dark green one we had before as some really liked that one and it was changed rather quickly.

Okay, so we have about 5 different color schemes for the board. The yellow one I'm trying to work on at the moment (needs a little fixing). But an idea poped up in my head and I figured it would be a good to present it to the table. My new idea was to make schemes based on various religions. For example, a Christian theme where I would use like an image of Jesus or Mary and maybe use the Christian cross for the on/off icons (or something like that) and just have it totally suited as a Christian atmosphere. Another would be something Buddhist or Hindu or something.

The only thing that I would be confused about is whether or not I should keep "welcoming all faiths..." on religiousspecific banners in those schemes. But that would be based on opinions from you.

So what do you all think? I'm also willing to make other schemes by request. If you want specific images used and you have some you'd like me to include, then I'll work something out. Just PM me with a link to the picture (or email it to me if you don't feel like putting it on an image host).

Anything to make you guys feel comfortable. Just let me know.
