I've only travelled domestically as an adult... the west coast trips (L.A., Lake Tahoe) were my favorites.

My father was in the US Army until I was 17. I was born in New Jersey, my sister was born in Ohio, my brother was born in Alaska and my other sister was born in Montana. We are each two years apart. We also lived in Missouri, Texas, West Germany, Virginia, and Maine.
After high school I got into over-the-road truck driving. I did that for several years until I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease.

Hi, all.
There is absolutely nothing in the world I love to do like I love to travel! It's kind of funny, actually, that you would have started this thread, Poly. I just dropped into the General Discussion forum to mention that I was going to be leaving on Saturday the 11th, and won't be back until Sunday the 26th. I didn't want everybody to think I'd bailed! Between now and Saturday, I'm going to be super busy. I'll respond to as many posts as I can before I leave, but some may have to wait until I get back.
Incidentally, my husband and I are going back East for our 35th wedding anniversary (June 17). We're going to spend six days in New York City. It will be my fifth trip there and my hubby's first. I absolutely love that city! We've got tickets to three plays and a Yankees game. I am sooooo excited.
After leaving New York, we're going to drive to upstate New York to the little town of Palmyra which is where Mormonism had its roots. It's a couple of hours away from Niagra Falls, so we're going to spend Father's Day doing the Maid of the Mist.
Then we're going to Boston and Cape Cod for four days. Neither one of us has ever been to Boston before, and I've heard it's an awesome city. Anyway, if I don't talk to you guys before I leave, I'll catch you in a couple of weeks.
Kathryn

I love to travel, though I've not been to many places. Just into Michigan, Florida and around Ontario here.

It's kind of funny, actually, that you would have started this thread, Poly. Yes, Polytheist is actually very proud to have started this thread. ;D Oooh Cape Cod... I've been there three times and it's really awesome. Go to all the cool cultural stores. ;D There is also a lot of ice cream shops there. And make sure you go to the beach and get some shells. Last I went, all the crabs were buried in the sand. Everywhere I dug my sneakers there were crabs. I got paranoid and ran. lol You know, I'm so pathetic that I have only been to NY once and that was to go see Niagra Falls. lol But I've been to Mass many times. ;D

I've been to Iowa, MIssouri, Oklahoma, Florida, Kansas, Arkansas, and next month I'm going to go to Nevada . I would love someday, to go to New York City and see the phantom of the opera on stage again...I'd love to see so many shows. Then I'd love to jump across the big pond and go to Europe.
I love visiting my mum's family in Oklahoma. Now my favorite places here in Texas are San Antonio(sea world) and I love a town near it called Fredricksburg. It's a german town, with lots of little small town shops, a few museums and good food. It's fun to go down there for a weekend and just hang out.
Congratulations on Kathryn and her hubby for their 35 years of marriage! That's amazing and very wonderful.

Yep I love to travel. I hope to go around the USA next summer (funds permitting). I've been to several countries but none of them have been out of europe.
I loved Italy, Holland, Monaco, Germany, Turkey, Cyprus and Sweden the best out of all the countries I've visited.

goodness yes Tara! I'd love to go to Egypt. I'd just love to travel all over Africa and look at wildlife... I said look at it...I'd like to be just far enough away so I don't get bit. LOL. I wish I had a lot of money and about 10 lifetimes and then I would, I'd travel every place around the world I'd wanted to go. LOL.
