Did anyone have any favorite stories from childhood that they would constantly harass their parents to read every night? lol When I was little, I used to love to read, "Grover Goes to School" from the sesame street series. (now look what happend to me ) But I always wanted to read the books myself.

I remember "Grover Goes To A Museum" was one of my favorites because it had some of the trippiest book illustrations ever. I think I was also big into the Berenstain Bears.

lol Yeah, I have all the Berenstain Bears and Sesame Street books. Personally though, I always favoured "Be Nice to Spiders" and the many versions of "The Gingerbread Man."

LOl I had grover goes to a sleepover or something like that...there were several books I loved, still do. Like, "I love you forever" and "the grinch who stole christmas"... Yes, that book is a pop up book, it's about a catapillar that eats and eats, and eats somemore until it makes a cocoon and comes out a butterfly-I have a brother who is 10 years younger than I so I've been through most books not only once on my own, by several times over with Jacob. We went through the "If you give a moose a muffin" I don't know how many times. that's a cute one as well.

What's the name of the story where you give a mouse a cookie, he's gonna want a glass of milk? I think I'm the only one who hasn't read that story. I want to read it. ;D

i can't remember if the one i had was pop-up, it probably was, i get it confused with another book about a chameleon. i've no idea what the story behind that one was but the pictures were cool because whatever the background was the colours always fitted it, like half green and half brown if he's standing on grass in front of a tree, or something. a somewhat interesting fact about my childhood - i could type my own name before i could write it by hand on a BBC Micro computer, one of the ones with a sort of DOS operating system, though probably before that, i dunno. my favourite game was a text adventure thing that i used to play with my dad - so much better than monkey island PS. i haven't read that story either

Aww man, childhood games! My favorites were TReasure Cove and Number Munchers...both with that DOS look. I played those using one of those huge 5" floppies. lol
