I have decided to try out the concept of a thread where we post all the quotes we have made up. ;D
"What is paradise? Well, what do you think the cat was in before curiousity killed him?"
I am now going to drag out some quotes form my diary (sorry, nothing juicy ) and post them here, thought I don't necessarily now agree with what I wrote as an eight year-old:
"In a way times are hard. In a way times are easy. And in a way times are your life."
"I can not tell you what I am, I can not tell you what you are, but I can tell you who [our] Father is; God."
"There is no word for true happiness; true joy. There is no word fot [our] Lord above, except Love."
"Nothing is greater than the joy of something well done and God's love."
"I cannot stand, but my legs are strongest.
I cannot speak, but my words are the strongest.
I cannot see, but my sight is the most.
This is what I say."
That one requires a bit of explanation. It was written in frustration over the fact that, though I knew I was strong enough to help the Cause, I still could not as I wanted, due to my age. The last line was supposed to make it sound mystic.
"I beg of thee, o people, to rise up and find the true ways of God, the Ever-Kind. Beseeching thou, I plead, to light yourself as the candle, as I myself have done. Sacrifice, so thou teach the Word and Cause. Burn, so thou will light the way."
Boy, did I sound obnoxious in that one. Shows how much you learn in just a few years.
I really like the last line from that quote. It actually still inspires me. ;D
Has anyone else ever made something like my "Quote Diary?" Willing to share?
