Um, well, my girlfriend listens to music, my sister listens to music, and even my mom listens to musis. I, however, do not even own a c.d. player... I'm content with peace and quiet, however, music does not bother me... I just don't feel a need to listen to it. Sometimes I just think it is a distraction. But, I do like music every blue moon. I play the clarinet, piano, and can sing if the occasion calls for it. So, I guess I just use my internal c.d. player and listen to whatever is playing at the time. That kinda sounded corny... -W.P.

I used to play the clarinet, good times.
Heh, no I don't have a cd that holds a lot of discs or anything, but I do switch out cds a lot...I'm constantly listening to music!

Bringing back an old thread, I though I would post a link to something about a really unique group I just discovered: www.celldweller.com/home.htmlThey started off as a Christian industrial rock group in the 90s and gradually began to experiment with mixing different genres for a really interesting sound.

Celtic Season III. <--- I didn't understand why this cd was so hard to find reviews for. I still didn't. But anyway, it's a compilation cd. Very very beautiful music. It was made in 1997.

if you like celtic music then there's a show on BBC Radio Scotland called Celtic Connections that you might be interested in. personally i'm not that interested in celtic music (i like bagpipes, but not the other stuff so much) so i can't tell you if it's any good, but if you browse around on the bbc website you should be able to listen to the last program for up to a week after it's been on (until it gets replaced by the new latest episode). i'm currently listening to Postishead - Roads on winamp. i don't have a cd player (other than my computer) so i tend to download or rip all my music onto my computer as mp3s. other stuff that i'm listening to these days includes the pixies, joe satriani, jon brion (eternal sunshine of the spotless mind soundtrack). normally i hate movie sound tracks, like john williams stuff, but the music for that film is really nice

Didn't John Williams do the Harry Potter soundtrack too? I think I recognize the name...

Ophelia: John Williams did the Star Wars music, HP, Jurrasic Park, and any other movie with lots of crescendos: www.imdb.com/name/nm0002354/-- Don't normally play CDs, I prefer mp3s. Currently playing: a mix of everything on my computer. (Just went from Mambo Italiano by Rosemary Clooney to Time is Running Out by Muse - awesome band.)
