Military Investigators Cite Religious Insensitivity at Air Force Academy

Washington, June 22 - The Air Force Academy has been troubled by insensitivity toward non-Christian cadets and staff, but officials have not committed acts of overt religious discrimination, military investigators said Wednesday.
A report on an Air Force investigation into the religious climate at the school says academy leaders and the Air Force should clarify policies on religious expression so religious minorities do not feel discriminated against or pressured. ยป Continue...

Not to be mean, but with their recruitment levels so low.... you'd think they'd wise up. I applaud anyone in the Army/Navy.. because i know I couldn't do that job, and someone has to do it. But, they are a representation of our country and if they can't act like they live in a country that is supposed to be free from prejudice and anti-semitism, then they need to be reprimanded. I wouldn't want that person to represent me.
I can imagine some of that going on just like I can imagine the prejudice against homosexuals. But the good thing about all this going on is, they realize the low numbers and figure out why they're having them, besides the war in Iraq.
