Michael Jackson Acquitted of All ChargesBy LINDA DEUTSCH, AP Special Correspondent
SANTA MARIA, Calif. - A jury acquitted Michael Jackson on Monday of molesting a 13-year-old cancer survivor at his Neverland ranch — exonerating the pop star who insisted he was the victim of mother-and-son con artists and a prosecutor with a vendetta. ADVERTISEMENT
Jurors also acquitted Jackson of getting the boy drunk and of conspiring to imprison his accuser and the boy's family at the storybook estate — a total legal victory but one that may do little to improve his bizarre image.( continue reading) Any thoughts?

Why on earth would any parent in their right mind send a child over to stay at his house knowing that Michael at the very least sleeps in the same bed with them. I"m sorry, but the whole story had an air of stink. However, that doesn't mean I don't believe he's guilty because I do believe he is. How many kids have to come forward and how many stupid things does he have to say to give enough proof that it'snot safe to have children around him?

I hate celebrity trials. I wish we had a law that they have to be kept out of the media. (If wishes were fishes...)

All I can say is that I'm disgusted he got away with what he did, and I'm disgusted by the screwed up priorities of people who worship celebrities to the point where they ignore things like this when they happen

I think he's got some weird streaks to him, but I'm still not sure if he's guilty and to be honest, I've never really been a fan of him.

I think he did it, but I also think he doesn't realize it was a wrong thing to do because he has major psychological problems. Several times, he's mentioned that he feels like the "embodiment of Peter Pan" and never grew up, so who knows- maybe he thinks it was just innocent fun between himself and boys whom he consider to be "peers".

Maybe. I was also told that he was given some type of steroids just to keep his voice high pitched when he was younger. But...I thought that was simply something he does with his voice. As you said, he's got psychological problems.

i've only heard one or two things about this. basically i don't care and can't be bothered following the case in any great detail. i've heard that he slept in the same bed as some kids, but i've also heard that boys slept in the same bedroom as him and this is hardly a big deal because his bedroom is 2 storeys high ...
i really don't know, to be honest. he should probably be locked up in a mental institution - if it was a normal member of the public acting like this then there would be no hesitation in doing this, why should it be any different for a celebrity?

If the voice steroids thing is true, they had a permanant effect on him because he still speaks like that, in a tiny high pitched voice

But I thought he only did that because he felt the need t be young. Remember, imagine having a father who basially forced you into the music business at an age where kids are going to soccer practice and fighting over who had the ball first kinda thing. Beaten and forced to produce music at such an early age. And there is controversy over whether or not his father had made him feel like he was not worth anything. Right there he struggles with his own identity. And take into consideration that some people are simply more sensitive than others. A person with a stronger personality might not have turned out to be like him. But as you've seen in his efforts to promote peace, he has a tender heart.
