This was mentioned on (mysticwicks). Someone asked if hanging a Christmas tree upside down was a real tradition. Well guess what the answer is? YES! The Christians hung Christmas tress upside down as a way to show their symbol of faith. click

You didn't read far enough... that site says these are only legends, and that the first Christmas tree didn't surface until several centuries later.

Well my Christmas tree is rightside up with pretty lights all over it. But alas no presents underneith it.

I just ran into my Christmas tree with the computer desk chair...I think it's ok. It's only a fake one. My sister decorated it, so the ornaments are all like on one side of the tree. Hmm...if I change them around, she'll notice and I'll get in trouble.
