Whatever happend to Afghanistan and Osama bin Laden? And what's this talk about Iran? I've been avoiding the news, but the grapevine seems to enjoy creeping up on me.

Iran has some nuclear program(not been listening to the new, dont think its neccessarily weaponry), so he's telling them to stop. The afghanistan thing is still going on -- just overshadowed.

Next on our list -- but he seems determined to neutralize the Middle East (well, pretend to -- actually doing so would take lifetimes) before he moves on.

there was something on the news last night about some progress with osama bin laden, but i wasn't paying attention cos i was practicing guitar i heard a little about the iran thing on the radio a couple of days ago, apparently Bush offered them some kind of incentives to abandon their nuclear program, so the Iranians responded (facetiously) by offering Bush 3 truckloads of postachio nuts if the US abandoned their nuclear program. it's funny how nobody feels indifferent to Bush - everyone either loves him or detests him ... is that a good thing as the leader of the most powerful nation on earth?

I still think the fact that he knows NK has nuclear programs and the fact that he is so called on this war on terrorism and then he has the nerve to turn his back like nothing's happening. That just gives him away right out. And people love him for moral values? Are people really that mislead?

On a side note -- pistachios are used majorly in candies in Iran and the Middle East. Essentially, they were offering him three trucks of candy if he would end his nuclear program. Hmmmmm.....I'm [in]different! He's got admirable qualities, but (relative to my own) beliefs different enough to have those qualities, in addition to any negative qualities, produce what is, in my perspective, a "bad" result. So, essentially and really, he's screw coming, going and in the middle (obscure reference to my own thoughts).
