Are Celtic people just the Irish and Scottish? I'm not an expert in this area.

I believe that those from England and Whales could also be considered celtic...?

lol @ "Whales" - unless you know something i don't, i think it's spelled Wales ... nowadays people tend to say celtic referring to scottish and irish people, i think, though before all those different people invaded britain in the past (normans, angles, saxons etc.) i think everyone in britain was celtic. in roman times i think everyone was celtic, for example. i'm not a history expert but that's the impression i have of it. recently there was a bid by ireland and scotland together to try and host the european football championships some time in the future and it was referred to as the "celtic bid", but it failed cos we don't have enough big stadia (even the two countries combined). sorry, just thought i'd relate it to football again ;D
