Assuming you were elligible to vote in the U.S.
If you vote other, than who?
Also, why would you vote for your candidate? (anyone but bush is not a reason!)

I'm not a United States citizen, but if I were, the Green Party would definitely get my vote because their concerns meet my concerns the most out of all the parties. The Green Party is against the war in Iraq, tax handouts to the wealthy, etc. I like that they're not only pushing for better health care, but a better environment in general. Any party that makes enviromental, wildlife, etc; issues a top priority is ok in my book.

I'm not even sure myself. If Bush gets re-elected, then things could very well get worse and maybe people will learn to pick a better president in the future. As for Nader, I don't know enough about him, and Kerry is a character himself.
We need their websites. I thought I bookmarked their websites, but I haven't. Does anyoen have their websites so we can properly decide?

Tiger, a vote for the Green Party, is a vote for Ralph Nader.
I personally know, that the race comes down to Bush vs. Kerry...this is no secret. Furthermore, I believe, that Kerry is the lesser of two evils. Nader as president would be ideal, but is totally unrealistic. So basically, all those voting for Nader, are simply taking votes away from Kerry, which is dangerous. I don't think it is advisable to give Bush so great a chance, the improvements that our country would benefit from, to not come from him in office.

Well, a lot of people I've been talking to lately have been switching their vote over to Nader.

There is an organization that supports nader that openly admits that its purpose is to draw democratic votes to nader, so bush has a better chance to win.

Bush is a republican as far as I'm concerned. How will drawing votes to Nader whose on the Green Party, draw votes to Bush who is on the Republican party?

No, it draws votes away from kerrry. Realistically, the green party has no chance of winning, so votes to it act as a void of votes to another candidate.

Yeah, Amalcas has it.
Drawing votes from Kerry to Bush is a task, but drawing votes from Kerry to Nader, is perfectly reasonable, for all of those left-wingers.

I guess it's Kerry-I say I guess, because I still don't know what he stands for...I watched his speech it was good, I'm just saying....he states what he's going to do, but not how..and that kinda bothers me.
I'm getting sick of the vietnam war thing(who served and who didn't), because it's detering away from the issues at hand.

Well, you know how I am, I won't be giving up hope. This is gonna be a crazy election. (I wonder if Bush doesn't win this time will he try to become president next time... )

I recently heard on NPR (National Public Radio) about two books but don't remember the author. One title was Why I Hate Republicans and the other was Why I Hate Democrats. I thought it was kind of funny. In school we have a class that focuses on current events so we discuss this in detail. But I ask about Nader so we can learn more about him, but finding info on him is difficult when it comes to news resources. I have to let my teach know about his website...

Kerry and Bush running neck and neck in White House race: pollOkay, that's the news for today. Now I wanted to discuss about the assualt weapons ban and how it is no longer a ban b/c Bush let it slide. My thing is that, if Bush has this supposed war on terrorism, wouldn't he enforce this ban? And even if there were no war on terrorism, what would the public do that's productive with an assualt weapon? Take for example the assault riffle. In hunting, you wouldn't need one b/c it takes the purpose out oftrying to learn to aim with your weapon on how to hunt. Plus, in certain areas you are only allowed to use a certain kind of gun for hunting. You can have these guns as souveniers or something. But other than that, I don't think the ban has done anything good. They say those who own guns are more likely to kill a family member than anything else b/c if someone hears a bump in the night, they'll go get the gun, and end up shooting someone in their family b/c they simply didn't know you know? So what's your take on this thing? BTW, the Nation Riffle Association has been funding Bush's campaign...
