Has anyone here ever swam in a lake or any other body of water besides the pool and the ocean? I did as apart of this day camp I used to go to when I was smaller. I enjoyed it and it was the only water I can actually keep my eyes open under. Some people can take the chlorine of the pool... I don't know why you would want to. The only thing I don't like about swimming in a lake is the bottom. I don't ever want to touch the bottom...lol

Eww I don't want to touch the bottom either.(it's probably safer that way becausey ou don't know what could be on the floor, glass or whatnot) Mostly though when I swam in a lake or a creek it was either when my family camped out somewhere or my dad was going to go fishing. As long as we stayed away from around his spot we were ok.
You're right about the chlorine though. Although I liked to swim almost every day during the summer when I lived by a pool, my eyes would be so red afterwards....

I swam at Lake Tahoe one summer a few years back... the water was soooo clear, it was amazing. I don't mind the bottom, but I never before realized just how much stuff was down there.
