For those of you (like me) who can't afford the real thing, try a virtual guided tour (requires Quicktime, Flash or Java and a fast internet connection): www.arounder.com

lol I wouldn't mind going on a world tour. Some people enjoy backpacking, would any of you do that?

whit!?! no scottish or even british cities?
i know someone who's on a round the world trip as we speak. last week he was in australia, the week before he was in asia, dunno where he's off to next though i'm sure he's still got south america to go, maybe north america before going back home (to get back to western society and get some shopping done perhaps). dunno if he's going to africa.
the funny thing is the university want him to come back and resit one of the exams he failed but he doesn't want to end his trip early (even though the uni are offering to pay for half the price of the ticket home, which is pretty decent of them)

Hey, Travelling to Europe like Belgium and Germany's Bonn are always a nice adventure. Or as I may say, Travelling to a strange new place is always a nice cultural experience. Visual Tour is always a nice alternative, but I think nothing beats being there physically.

Yup, exactly. And it's difficult to describe the beauty of a place to someone who hasn't been there. Because beauty is felt too you know.
