i have an old, second hand peugeot 106 with 85,000 miles on the clock (only a few thousand of that is mine though). it's a diesel, manual transmission (like most cars in britain), no power steering and only a 1 litre engine - though it's very efficient, i usually get about 500 miles between fill-ups (i dunno if this is a lot, but it's probably got a fairly small tank, cos it's just a little car). i use it to go to football matches (sometimes all the way across the country, though scotland's fairly small, the longest journey is a 5 hour round trip - still pretty long in such a small car) and to go home from uni whenever i need to. the clutch had to be replaced not too long ago (that's the thing you use when you change gears with a manual transmission car ). it broke when i was in rush hour traffic, it wasn't much fun driving without a clutch (not impossible, but very difficult). also, the bumper (fender?) at the back is squashed in on one side from when the striker for my favourite football team crashed into me after a match

Would you have liked it if your favorite striker ended up giving you some sort of permanent physical damage too? lol

not really no ... the damage isn't serious, and the car's a bit of an old banger anyway. it's got some dents from when people have bumped into it while it was parked and just drove off, it doesn't really make a difference. if it was a brand new mercedes then i would be pretty pissed off, but it's not

One of these, one of these, and one of these. 2000 Chevy Malibu, 1964 Piaggio Allstate, and 1980/1981 Vespa P200E. These aren't mine. Mine are not nearly as nice-looking. The bottom two are in pieces, being worked on.
