Ever stopped affiliation with someone or hated them for their ignorance toward your religion? I'm a Satanist, and so, this, and outright rejection, flutters above my head like a cloud. This thread was put here to educate people who may be ignorant toward a certain religion. So, go nuts!! Go into history, the celebrations, the misunderstandings of your religion. Educate those who may not otherwise know your religion existed on its intricacies! I got one. I am a Satanist. So everybody I tell this to looks at me funny as if I'm a gonna hex them on the spot or start summoning demons from their blood. I'm a going to say thin once: were not animals! In fact, Satanism is closer to Buddhism than any other religion and promotes inner peace and individuality and creative thinking. Contrary to the popular beleif that we all worship violence and death. On the subject of worship, most Satanists prefer to think of Satan as a friend rather than a god. Or, at least all of the ones I've met do, and thats 7 of my top 10 friends. See? Ignorance. It was right there: sometimes poeple can even be a bit ignorant of thier own religion, too. So, tell me about your culture; I wont bite!! ( get down Azereoth, DOWN girl!...dum dragon-look what you made me type!!)

Since most people are ignorant of my religion, I would have very few friends indeed if I hated those who did not adhere to the Calyr faith. Besides, I'd be kicked out. By the very nature of my religion, I am required to embrace those of different faiths, provided they work for good in the world. The difficulty, I guess, is in figuring out if one is on a path of goodness or evil. I don't think I am wise enough to decipher that question, so unless a person proves themselves to be evil, I will accept them no matter what their religion.
