anyone ever heard of millions? they're little tiny balls of candy that you usually buy in packets (though some sweet shops in the UK sell them by the quarter pound - they have big jars of sweets, you ask for a quarter pound and they weigh it out before giving them to you in a paper bag). you take a mouthful of the wee things then chew them up into a big chewy lump of goodness ... they rock i only ask because the company that makes them goldencasket (or one of its subsidiaries or something) comes from my home town in the west of scotland (and our football team is sponsored by millions - yes, that tartan monstrosity is our new jersey for this season) but i heard that they have advertisements on nickelodeon in the US before and after spongebob squarepants cartoons, and it's cool to think that something made in my home town is so well known around the world. mind you, James Watt, the inventor of the steam engine, comes from my home town and the SI unit of power was named after him ... don't get much better than that

yeah, i remember them from when i was small, but they were really really tangy, millions are just sweet (like, strawberry, rasperry and bubblegum flavours). at first i was surprised to learn that they sold them in the east of scotland but they also sell millions in england, australia, japan and a few other countries around the world.
