Apparently the famous Christian mysitc from the 12th century who lived her life as a nun had some words of her own. Somebody added some music to it and voila, very, VERY beautiful music. A friend of mine introduced me to her music yesterday... I fell in love with it immediately. It's hauntingly beautiful and in some of the songs, it's got a light middle eastern twist to it. Very mystical. Ah.. I don't know how to explain it properly without ruining your chances of listening yourself. So check out the goods on Amazon. You can listen to clips on the site there. I plan on purchasing the albums "Vision" and "Illumination" because those were the ones I sampled yesterday. ;D

Wow Tara, thank you I really like this. I had never heard of it myself. I have decided to buy a couple this Christmas for my boyfriend's daughter (she just loves Enya, so I figure she will like this music as well). Thanks again

Ah, your boyfriend's daughter likes Enya. Make sure she gets a taste of Mythos as well. ;D I never really liked Enya as much as other New Age fans do. I think it's b/c I was exposed to Mythos first as my first taste of New Age music. It's very hard for me to accept anything less, I'm telling you. lol
