in fact, after re-reading the post that started this thread, i'm now of the opinion that dihydrogen monoxide should be banned. sure, it's water, and everyone's come to accept it, but that doesn't make it any less dangerous, does it? for decades people living in built up cities had become used to polution as if it were just a normal part of life and joked about going to the country for "fresh air" but then someone pointed out that it's actually seriously harming our health and our environment and now all the best countries are trying to cut down on their pollution (ie. europe and several other countries not including the USA ). so the same should go for dihydrogen monoxide, in my opinion

i think we'll just have to get over our H 20 addiction cold turkey. it'll be hard but it's a necessary step, i think you'll all agree. either that or alcohol
