Wanted to share and have some feedback...

Last night I was delievering food to a patient at my job and we(me and the patient) both just started talking right away. We talked for about 10 mints and then I had to get back to work, so I came back after I was off of work. We talked for almost 6 hours about things, from God, life after death, animal communcation, talking to spirits etc. Then we started talking about women he asked me if I had a girlfriend and I told him I don't.


Then he told me he knows a girl that he can hook me up with and he started to tell me what she is like. From her personality, looks, what she likes and that just the other day she asked him if he know anyone that she could start dating. What is funny is, I told him that I have been asking God to send people into my life that have the same vibes as me and add in a girlfriend. Now people are starting to come into my life just like that. What is interesting is that I have never sat down and talked to someone for almost six hours about all this stuff. Heck, I have never hardly talked to anyone about this stuff cause I know how people around where I live will do, say etc. We believe in mostly the same things, and he is willing to introduce me to his friend just to see what happens.


I am just in shock right now and oh one more thing if someone could tell me what they think about this guy, is this for real or should I stay clear of him? I know that I am second guessing myself but I have waited so long for something like this to happen and now it looks like it will happen, maybe I am just afraid that I am now possibly going to have a relationship. So when someone gets a chance please let me know what you pick up about this situation, if I should go with the flow or just stay away?

Go with the flow is usually my answer. And so it is at this point. You obviously asked God to give you what you've wanted, and you're getting it aren't you? But keep in the back of your mind that you must always be cautious and not too trusting. But if you've gotten far enough in your journey to learn to use your intuition, then you'd know who to trust by now. And you'd also recognize your "own kind".

based on my previous record of trying to give advice about relationships, i'm going to stay well out of this one because even if you bear in mind that you should do the exact opposite of what i do, i'll still probably not be able to say anything constructive whatsoever

spiritman, there's rarely harm in meeting someone new. I second Tara... enjoy his and her company and you'll know if something's "hinky"...

I wanted to update everyone on this situation, my boss just told me after work that the guy that I have been talking to has a past history of either being a drug addict/or selling drugs. They told me that I should stop all contact with this guy but they said it is my choice, but they don't want to see anything happen to me. So I am going to take this a big warning and just stop all contact and since he has my phone number, should I change it? What do you guys think now about this situation?


Right now I just want to throw in the towel and quit, cause it seems like know matter how much I try to trust people, it just seems like I get another slap in the face. Granted, I don't know much about this guys past history and I don't want to judge him, but I will take this as a warning. But the interesting part is, people wonder why I am always quiet and don't talk, go out parties, clubbing, or go out with people in general because of stuff like this. I will still go to the movies, the mall stuff like that but in general I am through with all of this, if I get friends/girlfriend to hang out with good, if not I don't really care anymore now.


Ok I am done with my rant and negative thinking right now, just had to get this off of my chest.

Aren't there any healthy forms of entertainment around you? Like, sports events or free concerts or the like? Where I live, there's no end of that kind of stuff for meeting people who are similarly interested in healthier ways of passing time... (...not to mention all the various Christian events...)

Well I think that was a real nasty thing to say. I would avoid your boss. Does your boss know for sure that the guy has a "past" history? It seems word of mouth considering what you put here about "either being a drug addict/or selling drugs".
