Random bit of inspiration hit me while turning off the shower. I started singing this slow, almost haunting tune, which eventually turned out to this: Broken ground And slumber deep What hooves are these Disturb my sleep? What whispered tale They tell this time To glorify A shameless crime? ------------------------- War and shame I never knew But storms are vast And troubles brew ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Still writing it (past the divider was not in the original in any form), but I like it so far. I've been trying to make a decent recording, but my mike is, to sum it up, amazingly bad. It sounds like a tenor through a tin can, which is odd, considering I am a bass. The falsetto voice that you get when you speed it up, ironically, sounded quite good, as far as those things go..... ;D

Hey, keep going. It's good. Whatever the inspiration, keep it flowing.
