i don't usually have breakfasts these days, cos i like to sleep in until the last minute. i know i just end up rushing to get ready (hence missing breakfast) but i really love my bed ... my favourite breakfast is having a bacon roll or two before going to a football match (sorry i mentioned football again, but you should expect it from me by now )

I almost never have breakfast because I don't get out of bed in the mornings when I should, but I really just like cereal. Plain cereal. I'm allergic to so many things that I'm limited. I love French toast, but I'm allergic to maple syrup and I ain't eating French toast without it.

Hmm.... I too like French Toast. I have bad eating habits as I don't eat regularly. Half the time I'm just plain lazy. But I like eating cereal for snack a lot. Lunch is normally my biggest meal. I guess that's pathetic because breakfast is supposed to be the most important.
I could probably survive living in Spain because lunch is very big there. (I think) and breakfast is very small and dinner is very late.

also in germany lunch is the main meal of the day. dinner is more like supper, just small, uncooked things (like toast and paté or cheese salad or something). their school timetables are weird though. they start at like 7am and finish at 1pm. then they are free to go home and have a big lunch. in the UK we normally started at 9 and finished at 3.30, except cos i had to get the train to and from school, my day effectively started at 7.30 and ended at 5 thank god that's over now ... anyway, the point is that it's healthier to have your biggest meal earlier in the day, ie. the german way is more healthy than the british way (light breakfast, light lunch, big dinner). well, i say light breakfast, but then the typical english breakfast is bacon, eggs, sausages, bean, toast and hash browns ... that's not very light is it ... in general, i like a cooked breakfast myself. not such a fan of cereal (milk in the mornings doesn't always sit well with me).

I have some advice for everybody here. Whatever you do, don't be stupid like me! lol Here's the scenario: A while back, my mom bought these French Toast sticks that are kept frozen until ready to be eaten. Well, I normally put them in the toaster oven and bake them. The first time she bought these things, I told her not to do it again because, a) I can make French Toast myself and I love it when I do it ;D b) Why waste the money? c) I got hooked on them way to quickly. So she ended up doing it again two weeks ago. This time she buys 2 boxes. I guess it's because I'm not eating breakfast everyday like I should so she tries to encourage it by getting the quick stuff. So I gave in one Saturday morning and I ate 3 sticks ('cause I normally can't handle it). Sunday again I ate 3 and by two/three days later, I started eating it. And I knew this was killing me. I shouldn't have done it but I did it anyway. I was hooked very quickly. So every morning I was eating French Toast sticks from the box. Today I am left with a half a box. But yesterday, I decided I wanted something a little different. Maybe egg and cheese since I like that. But no, I figured I only had a little time to go to school, so I made the sticks. (stupid b/c I make eggs quicker than the stupid toaster oven can have my sticks ready) Soon after eating the sticks, I decided I wasn't going to go to school because I wasn't feeling too good. Can you imagine? For the past two weeks I start my day off with sugar! Unbelievable and totally not like me. lol So now I'm on a little sugar restriction seeing as I've gone waaay over my limit. My poor boyfriend had come to visit me and had to wait for me while I try to puke in the bathroom. I couldn't even do that folks!so I ended up taking Tums and by the end of the night, I was well enough to dance. So my lesson for today, DON'T BE STUPID LIKE ME!

i heard recently that the traditional scots diet is one of the healthiest around, though i've been searching for a couple of minutes and i can't find out what it actually is, though i suspect it'll be stuff like porridge for breakfast, haggis for lunch and scotch broth for dinner with a wee dram of whisky in the evening ;D lots of fish too, always healthy that. PS. well done, tara, that was very stupid: "My poor boyfriend had come to visit me and had to wait for me while I try to puke in the bathroom" - how elegant

My favorite kind of breakfast isa belgian waffle with strawberries on top and lots of whipped cream..mmmmmmm Awwww man! lol Right now I'm eating Frosted Mini Wheats straight from the box! It's one of my favorite cereals. The only cereals I do eat with milk is Total Raisin Bran. ...although it isn't breakfast. Meh, I'm always eating breakfast. lol From Doreen Virtue's perspective, if you're craving breakfast foods, it means you avoid getting started with the day's duties. lol Sounds like me sometimes. ;D
