You disagree?
So much for "'Natural' Law". So why not call it as it truely is? Why all this hiding behind weasel words?

I'll let you take that up with all those throughout history who perpetuated use of the phrase.
Meantime, it is an appropriate name, once you understand the concept.

nice appeal to numbers and appeal to history all rolled up into one.
Understand the concept? The whole reason for using the term 'natural law' is to elicit emotional reaction. Especially since you have nothing but your faith to link your god to nature.
Then to claim that your 'natural law' supercedes all other natural laws merely because your natural law states as such makes your cliam even more unstable.
But hey, what ever you have to do to be happy...

People will only tolerate so much inconsistency. To have a nation like the US that is so greatly dominated by people saying to hold to certain values to allow things that are wholly contrary to them causes a lot of strife and trouble. Some elements of different political and religious systems can mix. Christians, Jews and Muslims all believe in a living God. History is ample proof that despite that uniting belief there is still a lot that does not mix well.

And to think that with all the inconsistency within Christianity alone it is no wonder that Christians so dislike other belief systems.

The state of Christianity today is lamentable. Fortunately, most Christians continue to pray for and work toward unity in Christ.
