I need a new mod since people are complaining about certain things. As many of you who frequent here know, I'm in my first year of college. My main focus is on schoolwork, not this forum. Some of the threads move faster than I can keep up with and the other mods aren't always available. Another thing is that there have been some complaints that my form of moderation hasn't been fair.
My proposal is that I think we need another mod. One who is responsible and who seems to frequent the boards and can take over in case I'm not able to do it. One who we think, as a forum, has good judgement. I need another global moderator. Who's up for it?
And if no one volunteers, then I don't think it's fair that people complain that what I'm doing is not fair. I do try my best here.

One alternative would be to place a 'report post' button with the 'reply' and 'quote' buttons. Then when someone is offended they can merely click on the 'report' button, provide a breif explanation as to what the problem is and then send the report to the Mods to be handled.
Then if a post is not reported, noone has any ground to stand on if they start complianing about the post.
I will send my reccomendations to you via PM.

...yeah, you click a button 'I'm offended' and you get a message 'it's life, get on with it' ROFL
...to get such button you will have to find someone good at javascript...and that isn't so easy and fast...

Hi Tara,
I'm sorry if I made you mad when I complained about fairness. I understand that you are in college and have little free time--been through 2 years of that myself so far and know exactly what you are talking about.
I was under the impression that you were following along with the "Morality" thread because you have posted there. My only complaint is that I do not understand why the thread I had started before was deleted when this one seems just as bad--but then again I sent you a pm and received no reason or explanation. So I do not fully understand why that happened--was it because of the website I posted, or comments or what?
If you think it is ok for a member to call Americans/Christians "phallus suckers" and "Hellbound losers" then ok. I am not asking for that thread to be deleted.

You did, or did you send Tiger one? I always check to see if I have new PMs first before I start posting. I think there was a complaint or two about the website. Then people were arguing about whether or not the thread was started to simply start trouble or if it was an honest question geared towards the Christians. The actual content of the thread is coming to me....was it about the validity of the miracles in the bible or something like that? I don't remember. But I know it was a thread geared towards Christians. I don't think it's fair that one is using such names to refer to others. Respect is something that this forum should hold higly. So I will investigate the situation. And really, it should stop because it's so primitive in nature it's ridiculous. #police#

I said Phallus suckers because the USA likes to suck the Phallus of the Freemasons that control the world and the Israeli government.

Tara,
Yes I sent you a message--but that was a while ago so you might have forgotten. All you said in your response was that it is rare for a member to be banned and a thread to be deleted.
The thread I started related to Christianity--so I posted it in the Christian forum. It was about the "Inconsistencies of Christianity". My purpose in posting it was to discuss these possible inconsistencies, along with the possibility that the story of Jesus is a fabrication derived from pagan myth.
Cenk,
The U.S. government is made up of Americans. The government also "represents the people".
As for the Freemasons--that is all conspiracy theory and has no basis in fact. Of course I am sure you already know that.

Tara, Yes I sent you a message--but that was a while ago so you might have forgotten. All you said in your response was that it is rare for a member to be banned and a thread to be deleted. If I said that, then it must mean that it was important that I delete the thread. Especially if it was getting that much out of hand. Sometimes I'll go through and detele the posts that are geared more towards insulting someone rather than backing up a theory or claim that is actually connected to the subject. But if there seem to be a long chain of them and they're intertwined with the posts that actually stay true to the topic, then that's usually when I do it. B/c I've had times where I'd delete many posts and it sometimes end up as if the person is talking to themself and the thread ultimately serves no purpose. Gotcha. Yeah, I didn't think there were things wrong with it. The topic, anyway. I don't remember too much about the actual website though. But I do remember a lot of drama. And the person tied to that thread got deleted after that thread b/c they took their drama to other parts. But I figured if I got rid of the main source of the drama that things might have stayed productive. I really don't mind if you want to start the topic, but make it clear, since it can be a sensitive subject, what your goals are. I think that may have been part of the reason for last time.

Of course I am sure you already know that. Yes I agree the American government represent the people. I don't know if the name 'freemasons' is their name but I think there is an elite with power and influence. One important reason has something to do with my country of origin. I'm afraid thats all I can expose without blackening the name of my country of origin.
